About Our Training
The ABC Pilates Teacher Training Program is a comprehensive, extended hybrid program offered through both online and in-person instruction. The curriculum includes Anatomy, Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and Ring. Training is delivered in a small-group setting, allowing for focused instruction and individualized coaching that supports the development of both teaching skills and technical precision.
Participants receive personalized attention, access to state-of-the-art equipment, flexible scheduling options, and ongoing support from our Master Instructors through phone, email, and in-person appointments throughout the training process. Beyond developing a strong personal practice, trainees gain the knowledge and confidence to effectively instruct diverse populations. While a basic understanding of Pilates is recommended, no prior experience is required.

What qualifications do I need to enter ABC Teacher Training Program?
To help participants get the most out of the program, a basic understanding of Pilates is required.
Is your certification recognized across the country?
Yes — Certification complies with the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). The NPCP establishes, maintains, and promotes professional standards for comprehensively educated Pilates teachers.
What is your class size?
We are committed to ensuring quality education and training, and our classes consist of small groups of 8-12.

What is the registration process?
The first step is to fill out the relevant form under each training in the Upcoming Events and Training. Next, we review and send you a registration confirmation, or email you with any questions.
What is your refund policy?
We commit to high training standards and only offer limited spaces; therefore, there are no refunds for the Teacher Training Program.
Where will I be certified to teach?
Graduates from ABC Pilates Teacher Training work in a variety of Pilates settings both corporate and boutique style studios all over the country.
How hard is it to get teaching jobs?
Pilates instructor jobs and they are at an all-time high. Franchises, corporate gyms as well as boutique studios, are opening up the job market in a frenzy. You can work full-time and part-time with benefits. You can travel or just stay local. You can work out of your home, studio, or gym setting. There is no shortage of jobs in the Pilates industry.
What kind of income is there for Pilates instructors?
Income can range from $25/hr to $150/hr, depending on where you work, your level of instruction, and how much you may charge if working from your home.
How long will the training last?
It takes 6 months to 1 year, depending on how fast you are able to complete your hours and study time to test out.
How early can I start teaching?
After you have taken the mat and reformer modules, you can start to teach as an apprentice.
What if I can’t make every training class?
All modules are online and are available for consistent review during the tenure of your training. You are allowed to make up two modules in person during the next session.
What does the Teacher Training program include?
It is called the Teacher Training program for a reason! This course covers Anatomy, Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and Magic Circle — all in alignment with NPCP.
